EVE: Valkyrie Gameplay Overview:

Cold. Disorientated. You awake in a clone tank.

As you look around you see the frosted silhouettes of other pilots jolting to life. A memory repeats over and over in your mind. The memory of your death. Unknowingly, and against your will, you've been recruited - stolen from your previous life and re-purposed at the hands of a man known only as Fatal.

Using illegal tech, he is stealing the consciousnesses of dying fighter pilots and inserting them into specially designed clones at the point of death.

Rán Kavik was one of the first to undergo this process but broke away when she discovered the truth behind her death. She was not saved by the notorious Guristas, but had in fact been targeted and killed by them. As had all the Valkyrie.Tough, independent and driven, she is now waging a private war against her former clan as well as the corporation that she blames for the downfall of her family.

Today, Rán leads the Valkyrie. They roam the heavens in the dark, lawless regions of New Eden. Their survival is not certain, their enemies are many. In an upcoming BBC program, Stephen Hawking has a new message for humanity: Get off Earth within the next 100 years or perish. In order to survive as a species, humans must colonize other planets.

But Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has previously said that humans just aren't ready to live on other worlds. In 2015, he visited Business Insider to discuss his thoughts on where humans will go next and why.

Hadfield became a mainstream figure thanks to his YouTube videos from space and wide social media presence. Now retired, Hadfield is the best-selling author of "An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth."

On April 26, the Cassini spacecraft flew closer to Saturn than ever before — between the gap that separates the planet from its rings.

Since then, Cassini has been transmitting dozens of images of Saturn's surface. Here, NASA has compiled all the images into one, incredible video that reveals exactly what Cassini saw.

One of the sights that surprised scientists most was the sharp edges of Saturn's hexagon and its central vortex. Saturn's hexagon is a giant cloud system on Saturn's north pole, and it contains a central vortex.

The sharp edges scientists saw in these latest images suggests that the cloud system and its vortex are not mixing with their surroundings. But what's preventing the clouds in the hexagon from mixing with the clouds right next to it is a mystery.

This first dive marked the beginning of the end for Cassini. For the last 13 years, Cassini has explored Saturn and its moons. But its time will come to an end this September, when it will enter Saturn's atmosphere and burn up.

There are almost 30,000 man-made objects orbiting Earth. Many are tiny pieces of rockets and satellites, while others are completely dead satellites not in use anymore. All of them pose risks to other spacecraft and satellites — and as access to space becomes more affordable, the risk of a chain reaction of satellites crashing into one another will continue to increase.
